Description:
This robotic total station enables single-user operation to maximise efficiency throughout any job. Surveyors can direct their work in real time by referencing live video/images on data controllers, or by processing HDR images and 360° panoramas when in the office. If it’s the latter, the S7 combines well with the full suite of Trimble surveying software and those from other leading manufacturers.

The S7 is designed to be very easy to use due to its powerful measuring capabilities and modern automations. For instance, Trimble SurePoint eliminates mislevelment errors as they arise. This means the S7 is well-suited to environments with uneven ground and changing temperatures.
Software compatibility:
A strength of any Trimble product is its ability to utilise a huge range of leading software in both field and office settings. The S7 is no different, as it utilises Trimble Access for a simple yet powerful field interface, and Trimble Business Center for quick and clear processing when in the office. Being part of the Trimble family also means the S7 is eligible for software updates and new protections, such as Trimble Ionoguard.
Versatile applications:
Thanks to VISION technology and DR Plus, this total station can deliver enhanced scanner performance across various sites without additional instrument setups. Measurements remain easy to complete and accurate despite scanning over increased ranges. The S7 also includes a laser plummet for accurate instrument alignment, especially in mining or larger construction applications.

A particular strength of the S7 over the S5 is Trimble VISION and rudimentary 3D scanning, which gives it greater visualisation capabilities. Although they can both record accurate measurements over a large range (5,500m max – Lond Range mode, 2500m – standard).
Trimble DR Plus range measurement technology in the S7 provides an extended range of Direct Reflex measurement without a prism. The result is that you can measure further and with fewer instrument setups. This combines with Trimble MagDrive servo technology for quick measurements that don’t compromise on accuracy.
