Course Requirements:
Delegates must hold either an A2 Certificate of Competence (A2 CofC) or General Visual Line of Sight Certificate (GVC) before attending this course.
Previous experience of undertaking mapping missions is not required, but delegates should have a good understanding of drone operations.
Practical Training
The course is designed to be hands-on, with practical flying forming an important part of the training.
Training drones are provided, allowing delegates to concentrate on developing their mapping and data-capture skills without needing to bring their own equipment.
Where appropriate, delegates can also discuss their own intended applications and workflows with the instructor.
